Our Story
Fourteen years at the same workbench.
Hammer & Heirloom began as one bench jeweler, a single torch, and a belief that fine jewelry should be made to outlast the person who bought it.
We're still a small team. Every ring, chain, and clasp passes through the same hands that founded the company, cast in recycled precious metal and finished with tools that haven't changed much in a hundred years. We think that's the point — an heirloom isn't something you can rush, or automate, or mass-produce. It has to be made slowly, by someone who plans to stand behind it.
How It's Made
From bar of gold to keepsake box
01
Recycled Metal, Melted & Cast
We start with a bar of recycled 14k/18k gold or platinum-grade metal, melted and cast into the rough shape of each design.
02
Stones, Sourced & Certified
Every diamond and gemstone is conflict-free. Stones over 0.5ct ship with independent GIA certification for full transparency.
03
Set & Finished by Hand
Our bench jewelers set every stone and hand-polish every surface — the same process we used at our very first workbench.
04
Inspected, Boxed & Insured
Each piece is quality-checked, packaged in our keepsake box, and shipped fully insured, ready to become someone's heirloom.
Materials & Ethics
Responsibly sourced, always
Every gram of gold we use is recycled from certified refiners. Every diamond and gemstone is independently verified conflict-free, and stones over 0.5ct ship with GIA certification. We believe you shouldn't have to choose between beautiful and responsible.
